Broadband Botswana Internet (BBi) was formed and created in 2000 when it was awarded a communication License by BTA (Botswana Telecommunication Authority) to transmit data and internet service throughout Botswana. The company installed a very sophisticated satellite earth station at the show grounds in Gaborone which set us apart from other ISP’s in the market giving us the reliability and independence the market was looking for.

BBi has had years of wireless experience in some of the most congested (airwaves) cities in the world such as Lagos in Nigeria.
